Award and Publication - "The process and outcomes of chronic low back pain treatment provided by osteopathic and allopathic physicians: a retrospective cohort study. "

 

The American Osteopathic Association (AOA) has recognized the Osteopathic Research Center (ORC) and its PRECISION Pain Research Registry for the fourth consecutive year at the OMED Conference, awarding the 2024 Journal of Osteopathic Medicine Clinical Research Award to Dr. John C. Licciardone and his research team for their study, “The Process and Outcomes of Chronic Low Back Pain Treatment Provided by Osteopathic and Allopathic Physicians: A Retrospective Cohort Study.” Congratulations are extended to Student Doctors Kellerlee, Joseph, Mohammad, Kim, and Jain, who participated in the ORC’s Summer Program in Clinical Research in 2022 and served as co-authors on the article, reflecting their achievement in publishing a peer-reviewed study and receiving a national research award prior to applying for residency training later this year.
